Position: Trailer Mechanic/Repair Technician
Department: Maintenance
Compensation: $43,000.00 - $56,000.00 DOE
Requirements
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Meet daily with Service Manager to discuss demand and equipment maintenance schedule.
Maintenance tracking in TMW Software for all repair orders to record work performed and parts used to assure accountability of time and inventory.
Inspects, Diagnoses, Troubleshoots needed repairs on chassis and pneumatic tank trailers.
Repairs and required preventative maintenance of trailers in compliance with the manufacturer's specifications and company schedule.
Repair or replace defective parts or components.
Test repaired equipment for proper performance to ensure that the work performed meets manufacturer's specifications and regulations.
Utilize appropriate resources to determine the most effective and efficient method for repairs.
Maintains a clean and safe work environment to assure safety compliance.
Complies with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity.
Mounting Tires
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Must own your own tools.
Other Duties as assigned.
